Materials:
– Bernat Blanket Yarn. One 300g ball. I used Pale Gray. Shop the yarn HERE at Yarnspirations.com

– Size N Crochet Hook. I’m using my new Furls Blue Odyssey Hook! Shop this hook HERE.

– Tapestry Needle

Hanging Sack/Basket Pattern

Magic Ring, chain 2 and make 15 DC in ring, pull tight and join to first DC, chain 2 (15 DC)
Round 2: 2 DC in each stitch around, join, chain 2 (30 DC)
Round 3: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next, repeat around, join, chain 2 (45 DC)
Round 4: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 2, repeat around, join, chain 2 (60 DC)
Round 5: 2 DC in first stitch, DC in next 3, repeat around, join, chain 2 (75 DC)
Round 6-9: DC in each stitch around, join, chain 2 (75 DC)
Note: feel free to add another round or two to make the basket even deeper! 
Round 10: DC in first 20, [DC Decrease, DC in next 3] do this 7 times, DC in last 20, join, chain 2 (68 DC)
Round 11: DC in first 14, [DC Decrease, DC in next 3] do this 8 times, DC in last 14, join, chain 2 (60 DC)
Round 12: DC in first 10, [SC Decrease, SC in next 3] do this 8 times, DC in last 10, join, chain 2 (52 stitches)
Round 13: DC in first 10, SC Decrease, SC in next 28, SC Decrease, DC in last 10, join, fasten off
Now lets make the handle.
Join yarn 5 stitches to the right of the seam, DC in next 9, slip stitch to join, chain 8, turn, skip all 9 stitches and join with a single crochet and then slip stitch (for a little extra strength), turn, make 8 SC over the chain 8, join with slip stitch, fasten off and weave in ends.
